Scanner problems
I was going to upload a short "I'm still alive" filler tonight, but something has gone wrong with the scanner. It doesn't light up, nor does it move. I can't remember when we got the silly thing, but I suspect it's dead, Jim.This isn't an emergency; I can use the parents' multifunction Epson upstairs if I have to. But it is inconvenient and frustrating. And it's to be expected — the stupid thing's over four years old, so it had to go sometime.
I was intending to try and save for the Christmas Hells, but instead I'll have to trawl the local shops for a replacement. Assuming I can afford to do so...
